HUES Poster

For my graphic design showcase, HUES, I created a poster inspired by the color wheel. It symbolizes harmony, contrast, and the limitless potential of color relationships. I wanted the poster to do more than promote the event, I aimed for it to visually represent the heart of HUES as a celebration of creativity, individuality, and the emotional power of design.

A central feature of the poster is the use of carefully crafted gradients. These gradients were intentionally designed to transition smoothly between a full spectrum of hues, capturing the continuous and interconnected nature of color. By allowing colors to blend and shift, the gradients emphasize movement, evolution, and the idea that design is never static, it’s always changing, much like our creative processes.

The composition combines these vibrant gradients with bold typography and a structured layout to create contrast and balance. The colors invite viewers into the world of HUES, while the type provides clarity and direction. Altogether, the piece conveys energy, expression, and the unique voice each designer brings to the showcase.

This poster is more than a visual, it reflects my design values and is an homage to how color can evoke feeling, inspire connection, and tell powerful stories.
