Hadestown

I had the incredible opportunity to photograph a student production of Hadestown: Teen Edition, as part of my internship with the Plymouth Public Schools. Hadestown is a challenging and beautifully haunting musical that was entirely brought to life by young performers. This production was a testament to the students' dedication, passion, and creativity, showcasing their ability to tackle complex storytelling, intricate harmonies, and emotionally powerful performances.

As a photographer, I focused on capturing the raw emotion that makes Hadestown so compelling, the depth of its storytelling, the powerful presence of its characters, and the energy of the ensemble. Capturing these expressive moments, whether through narration, movement, or the connections between characters, was essential in conveying the heart of the production.
